Scott Watson

General Counsel

Scott holds Bachelor degrees in Law and Accountancy and is currently enrolled in a Masters degree in Urban and Regional Planning. After five years as a solicitor in private practice advising a wide range of clients including State Government departments, publicly listed and private companies Scott joined the JLF Group of Companies.

Since joining the JLF Group of Companies, his responsibilities have included management of the group’s legal requirements and obligations, project management and broad acre acquisitions. Scott has more than 10 years broad experience in the property industry.

Seamus O’Connor

Development Director

Seamus is Development Director at JLF Corporation and Custodian Land, heading up the development team delivering of residential development projects nationally.

Originating from New Zealand where he developed a mix of residential and commercial projects, Seamus moved to Australia with his family in 2006. Initially developing golf course and residential subdivisions for national developer Integra Group, he then joined JLF and Custodian Land in 2008 bringing a wealth of commercial and residential development experience to the company.

Seamus completed his undergraduate study at Otago University in 1998, has since completed a Property Development Diploma, and currently completing a Postgraduate Masters Degree in Applied Finance. He specialises in acquiring englobo land, feasibility analysis, tendering, negotiation and building teams to deliver residential communities.

Nick Huebner

Acquisitions Manager, NSW

Nick started with the JLF Corporation in August 2003 and holds his full real estate license in both NSW and QLD. He studied Law and Commerce at Bond University, QLD.

Since joining the JLF Corporation, Nick has negotiated and acquired over $700 million worth of property in Queensland, New South Wales and Western Australia.

In his current role as Acquisitions Manager (New South Wales), Nick is responsible for sourcing and securing residential land and has built strong relationships with some of Australia's largest private and public property companies.

He is an active Custodian Wealthbuilder client having purchased 3 investment properties through the program.

When he is not acquiring land you’re likely to find him on the golf course.

Warren Roberts

Acquisitions Manager (Victoria & South Australia)

Warren has been acquiring land for JLF Corporation and Custodian Land since 2007 and has a bachelor degree of Business (Property).

Prior to joining the JLF team he practised as a specialist Property Valuer for over 7 years delivering over 3,000 residential, commercial and specialist valuations.

In his current role as Acquisitions Manager (Victoria & South Australia) for JLF he is responsible for purchasing residential land for development. In this role he purchases developed allotments for resale as well as en-globo land for development.

Warren has built strong relationships with some of Australia's largest private and public property companies. Since joining the JLF group in 2007 Warren has acquired over $100m in property, the developed value of his purchases exceed $300m.

When he is not acquiring land you’re likely will find him flying across the water in his other passions which are kite surfing and surfing. His laid back surfer temperament and communication style makes him easy to deal with regardless of the transaction’s complexity.

Andrew Nguyen

Development Manager Victoria

Andrew is the Victorian Development Manager for Custodian Land (JLF Group of Companies). In his role, Andrew is responsible for the management of consultant teams, overseeing feasibility, planning, design and construction functions for the delivery of the group’s master-planned residential subdivisions in Victoria.

Prior to joining Custodian Land in early 2011, Andrew worked in a number of senior roles with various engineering consulting firms where he developed his extensive experience in all facets of property development. Andrew is a qualified civil engineer and has been working in the land development industry since 1999.

Andrew’s interests outside work include playing golf and watching his beloved AFL team, the Richmond Tigers.

Dean Baring

Acquisitions Manager, Queensland

Dean started with the JLF Group in 2010. He has a long history in the residential and commercial property market and has owned and sold over 100 properties of his own.

Dean specializes in stock from the Gold coast to Greater Brisbane area, You will find Dean very approachable, helpful, fair and honest.

In Deans spare time he has a strong interest in sports, hunting and spending time with friends and family.

Ramon Palomar

Assistant Development Manager, Property

Ramon manages all steps involved in the development process. Ramon ensures that lots are developed and are brought to the marketplace in a timely manner, including ensuring all development conditions imposed by relevant authorities are complied with.
